MOM’S TASTE OF HOME SWEEPSTAKES - OFFICIAL RULES

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Mom’s Taste of Home Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 1, 2011 and ends at 11:59pm ET on December 31, 2011 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter: ONE: Via Online: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.familymedia.com/mom (the “Site”) and complete the form and answer all three (3) questions (the “Submission”). For each question you answer correctly, you will receive one (1) Entry into the Random Drawing. Limit four (4) Submissions per household (determined by IP address per 24-hour period). All online Submissions must be received by December 31, 2011 to be eligible. Normal Internet access, phone/usage charges imposed by your on-line/phone service will apply. TWO: Via Mail-In: To enter via mail-in: On a plain 3” x 5” paper, hand print your complete name, full address, including zip code, commissary store name and email address, and mail your completed entry in a hand-addressed, stamped envelope, to: Mom’s Taste of Home, PO Box 399, Old Bethpage, NY 11804. All mail-in entries must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2011 and received by January 9, 2012. Mechanically reproduced or automated mailed entries are not eligible. All entries must be complete to be eligible. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per envelope. All entries become property of the FamilyMedia and will not be acknowledged.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to U.S. Military members, retirees, National Guard and Reserve and their families who retain commissary and exchange (PX/BX) shopping privileges and who are legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Employees and their families of Conopco, Inc., d/b/a Unilever (the “Sponsor”), FamilyMedia, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, brokers and personnel employed in the military commissary or exchange systems are not eligible.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Grand Prize (1): A $500 Commissary Shopping Spree (awarded as a gift card) and a Sponsor-selected care package for winner’s mom (ARV $24-$60). Second Prize (3): A $100 Commissary Shopping Spree (awarded as a gift card) and a Sponsor-selected care package for winner’s mom (ARV $24-$60). Runner Up Prize (10): One case of a Sponsor-selected product (ARV $$24-$60 each).

RANDOM DRAWING: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted on or about January 31, 2012, by FamilyMedia whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. Prizes will be awarded. Prizes are nontransferable and no cash substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize (or portion of prize) is unavailable. Winners and all entrants, as a condition of entry into the Sweepstakes, agree to release and forever discharge, covenant not to sue, and hold harmless Sponsor, FamilyMedia and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, members, employees, agents, assigns, and all others associated with the development, evolvement and execution of the Sweepstakes from and against any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with submitting an entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Sweepstakes, the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, or any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of offering of any prize.

GENERAL RULES: Potential Winners may be notified by email/mail and may need to confirm his/her mailing address and eligibility within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and alternate selection. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. All applicable federal, state and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners may be required to provide a photo for promotional purposes, at the Sponsor’s request. Details may be provided at time of winner notification. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By entering, entrants (and their parents or legal guardians, if entrant is a minor in his/her state of residence) accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Official Entries will be declared to be made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” of an e-mail address is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access provider, Online Service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Site or the Sweepstakes; violates the Official Rules; acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner: or acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Entries generated by script or bot are not eligible. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, damaged, lost, postage due or late mailed entries or technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications, whether caused by the sender, by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it cannot be completed as planned for any reason, including for infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures or corruption of any sort. In such event, Sponsor will award the prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received for the Random Drawing prior to cancellation. Void where prohibited and subject to all federal, state and local laws. As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants (and their parents or legal guardians if entrant is a minor in his/her state of residence) agree that: 1) under no circumstance will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for out-of-pocket expenses; 2) all causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and 3) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and in no event will entrant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs.
